1. MCAT Writing Sample Essay Ph.D. e-Tutorial:
The real MCAT Writing Sample Essay section is simulated by assigning the enrolled student two 30-minute practice Writing Sample essay from the current teaching curriculum of Columbia MCAT Review. The two essays are completed under time pressure and then e-mailed to one of Columbia Review's Head MCAT Essay Graders, all Ph.D. English Department senior faculty members and MCAT experts, who provide predicted real MCAT scores, detailed expert analysis and commentary, with helpful suggestions for improvement for each of the two essays. Students wanting additional practice can re-enroll in this e-Tutorial at any time and will be assigned two different sample MCAT essays so that the experience will always be new, educational, and very helpful. Students who are concerned about timed essay writing and already know they need ongoing expert help can save considerable money ($$$) by pre-enrolling in our e-Tutor "3-PAK" in which three full e-Tutorials are pre-purchased at a discounted rate. Also note that one student and up to two "MCAT buddies" can also save $$$ by enrolling in the e-Tutor "3-PAK", in which each student submits their two essays and gets an individual Ph.D. expert e-Tutor response. 2. Medical School Application Essay M.D. e-Tutorial:
Students applying to both AMCAS and non-AMCAS medical schools can submit a near ready, final draft copy of their one page medical school application essay to one of Columbia Review's Head Medical School Essay Graders, who are academic M.D. faculty and former University of California School of Medicine Admissions Committee Members experienced in essay grading, live interviewing and comprehensive application review. Our Application Essay M.D. e-Tutors provide an overall essay score, detailed expert analysis and commentary, with helpful suggestions for improvement. Students can subsequently submit essay re-write versions for follow-up scoring and comment by original M.D. e-Tutor.
